Great Pacific Adventures offers whale watching tours from the spectacular Inner Harbour of Victoria, BC.
Choose your whale watching adventure from a 45 ft ocean cruiser, which offers both inside and outside seating, OR in an exhilarating ridged-hulled zodiac. Either boat offers an exceptional whale watching experience.
Each tour has a certified naturalist or biologist who gives educational commentary throughout the tour, on all members of our unique marine community. Each boat is outfitted with a hydrophone to hear the whales vocalize.

All departures are subject to suitable weather and sea conditions and may be postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the operator. We strongly urge those passengers who are expecting and in the later stages of pregnancy

Whale Watching 3 Hour Tours
High season: Apr 15 - Oct 31
Zodiacs:
Adult: $95.00 plus GST
Youth (13 yrs to 17 yrs): $75.00 plus GST
Children (12 yrs and under): $65.00 plus GST
Ocean Cruiser:
Adult: $95.00 plus GST
Youth (12 yrs to 17 yrs): $75.00 plus GST
Children (4 yrs to 12 yrs): $65.00 plus GST
Toddlers 3 years and under are free on the ocean cruiser only.
Marine Wildlife Tours 2 Hour Tours
Shoulder season: Nov 1 - Apr 14
Zodiacs & Ocean Cruiser:
Adult: $85.00 plus GST
Child under 15 years: $59.00 plus GST
Toddlers 3 years and under are free on the ocean cruiser only. Otherwise, Rates are the same for the Zodiac and Ocean Cruiser.

Recent Sightings
July 2. 2009: Great morning trip! We were only a few miles from the harbour when we encountered a minke whale. We stayed with it for a few breaths and then carried on to the resident orca!! K and Lpods were very active when we got to them. Breaches, tail lobs, pec fin slaps and then porposing at great speeds towards Victoria. The sun is shining and the afternoon is most certainly going to be epic!
June 29. 2009: We spent the whole day with resident orcas! Some L's were close to home this morning while the rest of the pod, along with Kpod were spread out over Hein Bank; multiple breaches, tail lobs, pec slaps were in order on this sunny day!!!
June 27. 2009: Jpod all day today... beautiful on the water! Jpod came down Rosario Strait this morning and were around for the day!!!
