Whale Watching Tours
Great Pacific Adventures offers whale watching tours from the spectacular Inner Harbour of Victoria, BC.
Choose your whale watching adventure from a 45 ft ocean cruiser, which offers both inside and outside seating, OR in an exhilarating ridged-hulled zodiac. Either boat offers an exceptional whale watching experience.
Each tour has a certified naturalist or biologist who gives educational commentary throughout the tour, on all members of our unique marine community. Each boat is outfitted with a hydrophone to hear the whales vocalize.

Our sales office is conveniently located in the Harbour Trading Company building at 811 Wharf St., across from the Tourism Victoria Information Center (at the corner of Government and Wharf Street near the Fairmont Empress Hotel).

All departures are subject to suitable weather and sea conditions and may be postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the operator. We strongly urge those passengers who are expecting and in the later stages of pregnancy

Whale Watching 3 Hour Tours
High season: Apr 15 - Oct 31
Adult: $89.00 plus GST
Child under 15 years: $59.00 plus GST
Toddlers 3 years and under are free on the ocean cruiser only. Otherwise, Rates are the same for the Zodiac and Ocean Cruiser.
Marine Wildlife Tours 2 Hour Tours
Shoulder season: Nov 1 - Apr 14
Adult: $79.00 plus GST
Child under 15 years: $55.00 plus GST
Toddlers 3 years and under are free on the ocean cruiser only. Otherwise, Rates are the same for the Zodiac and Ocean Cruiser.

Recent Sightings
April 25. 2008: Well when it rains it pours, except its not raining, its actually a beautiful sunny day(for a change). I am reffering to Whale sightings and today they are pouring in. We are currently south of Trial Island with Pender, a frequently sighted transient Orca. We also have reports of another group of whales, possibly transients out near Beechy Head. Jim on Osprey is on his way with a group to check out who it is, I'll let you know.
April 16. 2008: Today it is starting to actually feel like spring. The sun is shining and its kind-of warmish...sort of. Well anyway its a nice day and there are whale sightings so all is good. This morning there are some Transients hanging around Trial Island, looking for seals I'm sure, and last direction was towards Oak Bay and the flats. Its a great day for a boat ride.
April 9. 2008: Today we were out on "Osprey" the Zodiac and spent some quality time with the always entertaining J-pod. It is wonderful to see all of them again and we are looking forward to seeing them on a regular basis. We were down about 8 miles south of Brotchie.
